Can't wait to see you guys and your cars around town. I don't have a 928 yet but i've been feeling the itch.

For WERKS reunion, wou will also need to sign the Covid release that PCA is requiring.
The QR code is all done on the phone and is the easiest way to access the forms. With the QR, all they need to do it open the attached and use your phone’s camera. A pop-up will appear on the phone and once you click it, the SpeedWaiver will ask for name, phone number, and acknowledgement to take picture and sign. Thanks for your understanding during these crazy times.
EVERY attendee of WERKS must have completed the form MORE THAN 24 Hours in advance. There's no way to argue or explain your way in.
Thanks, COVID
Thanks for the clarity and for sending this along, Trey. I used the QR code and went through the process, and the credential I was sent was dated as valid May 6-21. It seemed unusual to me that it times out in the middle of the event. Is my experience typical/correct?

Will the C&C folks reimburse my registration $$ if I never made the cut to actually participate in C&C? I've been on the wait list for months and don't see that changing anytime soon ☹️☹️☹️

They should not have charged you until such time as you were accepted. If they did charge you, email them and say that you were charged and you were wondering when your paperwork is coming.

FYI, the final tally for the 2021 Werks AI is 33 total 928's are registered; 16 are entered in the Judged category & 17 are registered for the Corral. Maybe a few more might have made it in to the limited general parking area too. I'll have a special display area in the Corral for the 928's for all to see. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll have my '85 928S there with you(maybe my 968 Cab), but I'll be working the event anyways running the Corral(ie: parking Porsches!).
The last big gathering of 928's in Florida with numbers close to this was our 928 OC 2007 Sebring Shark Shiver event during the PCA 48 Hours of Sebring, when we had 28 928's attend, including 4 racers. That event got recognition in Panorama magazine. So Big kudos to Trey & Scott for their time & work making this Shark Gathering happen, & to everyone who is coming. Lots for you to do & see over the three days of car events. You'll be glad you came. As you know, Werks Amelia Island is one of two national PCA Werks events; the Brumos Collection is well worth the visit; and the Amelia Island Concours is one of the highest rated concours in the world(the C&C on Sat. is fun too). Just bring lots of sun screen cause it can be hot in late May here, and hopefully no rain! I look forward to seeing/meeting you all, and your 928's! See ya soon, Mel.

Burning Brakes
WERKS REUNION suggestion.
Especially for those that are on the Judges field. Bring a folding chair.
While there will be sensory overload you still may want to take a break in the shade. Once on the field you are there until the end of the show. As suggested sunscreen then a little more sunscreen

All paid up, Stitch is at the body shop for paint, and it looks like my Dad will be joining me on Saturday.
