IB and the 928 Technical Forum - Statement required please?
IB - I am a sponsor and a serious lover of the 928 and this technical forum. I (and I hope others as well) need to know what you are planning for this forum.
At least have the ***** to come on here and explain to the peeps who pay your salary.
If I am on my own with this statement so be it but I would hope others would stand up with me as well.

I never went to the OT forum either - enough drama for me here in the technical forum.
However where I might understand someone being banned from OT, banning them from a totally unrelated technical forum is out and out crazy.
As I understand it two of the best contributors to this forum have been banned because they upset some Liberal "woke" peeps in a forum that most of us here do not visit or know about.
Why should that ban be extended to this forum??? Should I expect a "mob" to turn up on my doorstep to rip down the 928sRus sign?? GB it could be you next or Mr Merlin or all the other great supporters of this forum and the 928.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face IB - you must have some pretty irresponsible peeps running your show and taking my hard earned $ and then pissing on the people that make this forum special.
I am sure my sponsorship is of no importance to you at all but I need a formal response from IB as to what you are doing and what your plans are as you devastate this treasure trove 928 technical resource.
If we all stand up to IB surely that means something - I am prepared to fight for the good of this forum. DON'T MESS WITH THE 928 FORUM.

I like what Roger has to say the 928 community is one of the best.
For the record here are my thoughts.
I think its time for this electronically induced hysteria ship to be turned around.
Being an American means having the ability to express your view no matter what it is .
So many today walk around, watching their back worried about being labeled a something or other.
After this happens then our ability to look in front of us gets distracted and the idea of free thought goes away.
Once this occurs Common sense and human dignity also pack up their bags and head on out.
I think its time to Cancel this cancel culture,
Silence our fake news media,
Get a pair and hold on to them,
Get off your knee and stand up for America and all she stands for.
Be proud of our forefathers who fought to give us this freedom.
The balance of our humanity is swinging precariously in the wind .
We need to anchor it to firm stable ground.
And bring back the ability to use our common sense without fear.

I agree with all Roger has said (100%) and is the reason I have been a member since 2003, The technical support this forum gives its members is outstanding, and the banning of some of the key technical people is unacceptable. They are the value of this forum.

I have to say that I agree with Roger. I do visit the OT and Political forums, but I'm mostly a silent lurker. I'm also a bit confused why some people were banned, maybe I missed the offensive threads. Bottom line ban them from OT and the political forums, but NOT the technical forums. IB you loss a great asset when you lost Bigs and some of the mods.

This is the forum that brought me to Rennlist many years ago. If IB is going to ban people from this forum who somehow upset IB politically in a different forum, it's time to turn out the lights and move to a new (non-IB) forum.
It appears IB has a grossly-inflated sense of importance and has a mistaken belief that they are irreplaceable.
IB...fix this, or we vote with our feet.

I agree with Roger's comments completely. There seems to be a level of toxicity happening now on many fronts with Rennlist and banning knowledgeable resources from the forums seems to only add to this.
IB does need to provide some directional feedback on where these forums are going and it really should not be the mods, who are exceptionally trying to hold together any unravelling which seems to be happening.
I've been here since 2004 for the Technical Content. Please don't force technical contributors to leave and go elsewhere!

I agree with Roger. I come here to learn and could care less what happens in the OT board. This has been a great resource for knowledge. Don’t let that change!

I support Roger in this effort unequivocally.
The OB topics are the Wild, Wild West of Rennlist and as such should be able to function separately from the technical sections.
Furthermore, if someone is posting in the political sections, they should be allowed to voice their opinions regardless of what side they are on. (I have been censored for posting on both sides of the political spectrum). This is not limited to woke vs non-woke, or republican vs democrat...
IB - Please reach out the those you have banned and bring them back with full apologies and perhaps 10 years of gratis membership.
Otherwise, there is a strong possibility of a mass exodus...
Sterlings gone, Sean's gone, Worfs gone, who's next?

I stand with Roger 100 percent. Been a member since 2002. Was one of the first few who donated to the former owner when this was an entirely free forum. Restore these valuable members.

I support Roger , Sean and all fellow 928ers. I've been a member here since 2004, and still come back when I need tech info.
