Default Tarek Super 928 / RSC 928

I've been trying to find more info on this car, but it seems to have disappeared after about ~2007. Does anyone know where it is now, or know someone who may know? Any info is appreciated, thanks!

I know nothing about this car but have a couple of more photos. It's the widest 928 I have ever seen.

There was a RL member named Tarek I think who owned it. Try doing a search here using his name.

Please excuse the well intended humour. When I saw the pic of this 928 the first thought that flew through my my mind was a classic UK TV advert for cigars from the early 1970's [i think]. I looked it up on youtube and sure enough it was there!

Good luck tracking the owner down. Not sure I understand the motivation for this car but each to his own of course.

Thanks for the responses! I did find two users who seemed to know more circa 2005, Tarek himself as you mentioned as well as Scott M, both of whom have been inactive for quite a while know. I'll try reaching out to Tarek directly but I can't say I'm hopeful for a response.

As for motivation on this car, I'm more interested in learning its history and how it came to be rather than in acquiring it.

Looks like the body kit RSC was selling:

Definitely is an actual RSC bodykit or a replica. It even has RSC embossed on the back. Unfortunately knowing that hasn't proved to be all too useful, as there is next to no information at all online about the company RSC that made(?)/was planning to make that kit.

The owner of that car(Tarek??) is posting on a private FB site and I cannot advertise his name.
Please PM me and I will send you the name I blanked off. Then write to him one-on-one.

This was his most recent post.

Beautiful car, thanks for sharing! Cool to hear that your father saw the black car being built.
