Well I tip my hat to all of you inventors/developers/ tinkerers who create things to make our cars better and keep them on the road. And you are always willing to jump in with advice to keep us screwballs from really screwing up. Thanks guys, couldn't own these things without you. And Kevin, your tips and posts have helped me a great deal over the years.

This all started as a tongue in cheek send off to the VW commercial but has turned out a bit different.

I am forever grateful to those shoulders I got to stand on. Starting with Dave Roberts, Wally Plumley and my first mechanic Joel Roeder who let me work on my first 928, an 86.5, under his watchful eye.

Best advice I ever got was from Dave Roberts. "Kevin, these cars come apart one way and come together one way."

Admittedly, I've tested that proposition a lot.

Mark, I'd like to buy a bucket of used 928 bolts. Not too big, not too small, but a complete set. If you can't ship them for free, I can probably arrange for local pick-up. Half price for the holidays?
I'm pretty happy with the bucket of bolts I bought from Mark a couple years ago, but I didn't check for a complete set. Makes for one heavy bucket too.
