I've never heard of Paul before (surprised), but there's no question that he does EXCELLENT work and has 928 experience. The pics of his arrangement of the uninstalled parts tells me a lot.

What chemical products were used for this respray?

He's the best in the UK, if not Europe.....

There's a long thread here that looks at the paint formula and other things related to L947 - I hope that helps.

Did you convert the S4 to a taxi whilst you were at it or is that orange thing on the roofline the cab of the trailer!

This is the car I always picture when I imagine pearl white 928s, what a stunner. Good call, too, on the new wheels.

Cheers

Spectacular project and results. I have never seen a Pearl White 928 of any generation before.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, one of my favorite cars was the Audi 80/90, specially in Pearl White… My ‘92 80 was in Dark Blue Pearl Effect… which was a beauty too, but mission impossible to repair.

Smile Impressive photo diary of your respray - well done!

I'm so glad I found this thread - what a great photo diary, and I'm just about to go down the same route as well so I'm super impressed. The results look stunning.
FWIW, I've bought black 17" Panamera rims to go with my GPW (soon to be Pearl White L947) '87 S4. It's a bit of a leap of faith but when I put them next to my car I thought they looked pretty good, but I'm open to feedback.
