Cut out and running rough.
1988 S4 322,000 miles.
This happened awhile back, as I was turning into my drive the engine cut out, I tried to restart it, it would start and then cut out after a second.
I left it for awhile and tried again, it would start and just about idle, if I touch the throttle it just dies, if I’m very careful on the throttle I can get it to 2,000rpm but no more, it just wavers like on a throttle limiter.
I’ve tried it a couple of times since with the same results.
It was running fine before and I’ve not done any work on the car recently.
It had a rebuilt MAF in 2007, rebuilt LH ECU in 2011, new fuel pump in 2018.

take your LH and EZK and MAF put them into a good running car do one at a time

Update
Have done the following with no change.New MAF
Computers checked
Fuel pressure checked
Coil resistance checked
Ignition amps swopped
Temp2 sensor checked
14 pin plug cleaned.
Computers checked
