SOLD: FS 1986 928 S Price drop now $5000
FS 1986 928 S
I have been a long DIY 928 owner up to several years ago and longtime RL participant.
After I sold my last 928 in 2017, I have switched to MB but still have stayed in contact with many of my 928 friends.
I have known this car for several years (when she was owned by an older friend of mine) and know that she always has been a strong runner.
Due to the need for repair to the electrical MAF wires my friend decided to do a full top end refresh and obtained all the needed parts (including new fuel injectors and new Greg Brown fuel hoses) to do the job from Roger (see the attached invoice).
Due to my friend’s unforeseen health reason the project was never completed. In a trade deal with him, I now have acquired this car and all the new parts to complete the top end refresh project.
Because I currently have quite a workload of MB cars on hand, I have decided to see if there’s in interest by a 928-forum member to buy it as it is including all the new parts for ($5,000) and complete the project. The car also has (4) new Michelin pilot sport tires.
If there is none, I will complete it myself in the next 2-3 month and adjust the price to compensate myself for the labor involved.
After reviewing my MB workload it will take me more than 2-3 month before I can get this one done so I've dropped the price to $5000
PM me if you have an interest in this car.

I picked up the 86 at Herman's in South Port, TX, a couple of days ago, and it is everything it ought to be. Herman had done a lot to help with the completion of the intake refresh; and he and Barb were outstanding hosts for a nice evening out when I picked it up in South Port TX. The trip home was long but successful. The mileage on the car is a little bit on the higher side than I like, but the price was commensurate. In fact I think I got a great deal in spite of it involving a car not running. The car looks great and I am anxious to work on it as soon as I can find a good place to work on it
