Went for a drive on Saturday and here are the numbers:
  • Speed 96 km/h or 60 mph
  • Cruise on
  • 1950 RPM on the tach
  • S4 2.2 final gear ratio
  • Stock rims and tires (Michelin Pilot Sport N3)

Hello ,
Yes so Did I a few years , he wanted a sample of the gear shaft for sample as I am Australia , was too difficult here for logistically , I am interested if there are any takers again taker , but as I have indicated above they will require a sample , someone must be close to them , would be a benefit to any racers .

This is interesting, as my figures are: 2000 rpm @ 80 km/h and 2500 @ 100 km/h.

The speeds were measured on a Uniden GPS speedo.

Does this show that I have a different issue? Slippage in the gearbox and / or torque converter?

My car is also on stock wheels with 245 - 45 -16 Toyo Proxy tires.

I'll check again when I have completed my intake refresh.
