The Meg on Ebay
I just saw this on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23404493509...4AAOSwV2pgv6a-
The meg reserve has been lowered to 32k. Someone need to step up and gets this 928.

what in the world would he publish the reserve? That's not how it's done in auctions. Strange. Anyway, hope it sells. I wouldn't know what to do with it.

With the history of Carl's mechanical efforts, I'm guessing the purchase price is just the beginning of an abyss.

I assume he listed the reserve so that it's clear to buyers how much they need to cough up to get this car, while still having the benefit of potentially getting more via an auction process. Some might have assumed the reserve was much higher.

I don't know why he didn't just start the auction at the minimum price he was willing to accept. Of course, I think the whole reserve thing is a good way to support interest from those who cannot pay.
I thought he was featured at Barrett Jackson or something. Oh well, guess he's slummin on the 'Bay

I guess if I were the party who bought his business, I MIGHT would have considered incorporating that vehicle into the purchase at the price of $32K (or something gentlemanly close to that amount)
As it stands, 928MS seems to be not particularly present in the 928 community and having the "Meg" out and travelling to shows seems like a good way to say .... "We're still here but better"
That's got to be a bitter pill that the car can't even hit reserve on EvilBay.

Its a one off car, built for one person who had a particular goal. If someone else had that same goal, it might be a great head start. But.....
