The Comp 2's are good tires, just not very sure footed in the rain. I regularly take a cloverleaf type exit near my house and in the wet, it didn't take much throttle to feel the back end wiggle. I wasn't trying to drift, just rolling on the throttle to get up to traffic speed. Once at speed didn't feel very planted in heavy rainfall. These tires were marketed to the "retro-rod" crowd where classic straight line performance is a must. I agree the A/S version will be much better in the wet.

Thanks for the advice, all. I got them mounted today. No problems at all. Now, for that ride height to settle back down. And, yes, I went with gray. Gray and red. O-H I-O.
My 1979 Euro, Oak Green with Dials STILL crushes this thing in the looks department. We'll see how it goes.
