1985 928S Lights Questions...
The auxiliary high beam lights in the front bumper are not working. Bulbs (H3) are OK, fuse (#33) is OK. I can hear the relay clicking. The pop up high/low beams work. The light combination relay (#23-24) is a complex thing with three relays and more "****" in it. Anyone here have any experience with this? Is that relay expensive? Could it be other reasons the aux high beams don't work?
According to my '85 wiring diagram, my car should have combined parking lights and fog lights, but the two outer bumper lights are only parking lights... They have the lumen of a tea candle... However, I have a fog light switch on the dash console. I would like to have daytime running lights, and dusk/dawn lights strong enough to not needing the pop up lights to be on. Any suggestions here? Are there any aftermarket lights, LED bulbs or complete light inserts that would work? My friend Don Carter has a thread here where he changed out all the six front lights to LED (7" Jeep lights in the pop ups) and new LED bulbs in the four bumper lights on his '86.5. But my bumper lights are different, and those LEDs won't fit...
Help and suggestions will be appreciated!

If you have a US car (no turn signal repeaters behind the front wheel wells), you don’t have auxiliary driving lights. You have fog lights for inside pair and parking lights for the outside pair.

You should be able to get the fog lights to burn by turning the headlight switch one click to the parking light position then pushing in the fog light button. That will turn on the front and rear parking lights and the front fog lights without raising the main headlights.
