I have good friends in Pittsburgh that I haven't seen in a while. This sounds like a good excuse to spend some quality time with them.
Who's doing the sticker? I don't go to events that don't have stickers!

This is going to be fantastic! Finally had the opportunity to meet Scott face to face at Frenzy, and his passion for Rendezvous is exceptional. We'll try to do you proud! Lot's more info coming soon. The main dates for the actual car show on the golf course lawn and the vintage races through the streets are Saturday and Sunday July 23 -24. On Friday, July 22d, the Porsche specific festivities start in earnest with a fun run through the countryside, with a dinner gathering of many Porsches afterwards, creating an impromptu Porsche car show in the parking lot. We'll be scoping out the "right" hotel soon, one that has a vibe like the Frenzy hotel, that tolerates late night parking lot "tech sessions" (cough cough). For those who really want to get into the swing of the PVGP, the weekend before are the big bore races of large bore vintage cars at Pitt Race. Fantastic event. There are special car shows and parades throughout the week that you can participate in, and if you want to pack a tux, a black tie and tailpipes event. There is also a special invitational car show in the City. Blumaxx was a staple there for many years, and it shows many very special cars that are rarely seen.
Linky: https://www.pvgp.org/calendar/ NOTE - DO NOT REGISTER FOR THE EVENT THROUGH THIS PVGP SITE HOWEVER. REGISTRATION FOR THE PVGP EVENT WILL NEED TO GO THROUGH OUR LOCAL PCA CLUB WEBSITE - ARPCA. THAT WILL GO LIVE IN MARCH AT SOME POINT. ALSO, THERE WILL BE SEPARATE REGISTRATION FOR RENDEZVOUS ITSELF. There will be two separate registrations, and neither will be through the PVGP website.

Also, for those travelling to the PVGP without a shark (or other Porsche), you will not be able to park in the Porsche corral with the other 928's/Porsches. There is patron parking with shuttle busses just outside of the golf course (see the PVGP.org site for details on that).
Big thing to note - if you are not bringing a Porsche and parking on the golf course, you DO NOT have to register for the PVGP through the Allegheny Region PCA (ARPCA) website. You will not be able to just buy a lunch at the Porsche display, but there are plenty of other places around the event on the premises where you can purchase lunch, so no big deal. You certainly can bring your lawn chairs and hang out with everyone who did bring a shark to the event. So, if you are not bringing a car to display, do not spend the dollars to register for the PVGP.
DO however, register for Rendezvous in order to participate in the Saturday evening cookout and get the coin and other swag. I think Scott will have those registration details for us pretty soon.
Questions, call or email me. (Phone is 412-32 ate- four 7 four oh), and linderpat1@gmail.com.
With Porsche as Marque of the Year, this is going to be a very special PVGP. There will be hundreds of Porsches on the lawn. Let's do the sharks proud like was done at Amelia. We plan to have some very special and significant 928's there too. Here is a shot from the last time we had a 928 celebration at the 2017 PVGP - #1 and #6 and Blumaxx in a patriotic display:
Here is the link with some feedback from that event to give you a flavor: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...14-16-a-6.html.
And we had the Reservoir Sharks with #1 at the Friday night party:
We had around 35 928's in 2017, let's see if we can beat that in 2022!

Anyone else interested in the black tie event on the 15th?

Here is a (literally) 15 minute sticker idea made in Power Point. It's a mess, but it's just a concept.

It would be awesome to have you! Also, this just in - Ray Shaffer has agreed to be the Grand Marshall of the event, and plans to bring some special cool stuff up from Atlanta. Maybe a dedicated Brumos display! (Andrew) Conversations are just getting started. I can see a special Porsche tech session perhaps? We are working on Patrick Long too. We shall see.

I'm committed to teach a summer leadership school in Norwich, VT, and it may perfectly overlap PVGP...
