Default 928 Special

Was there any more special models of the 928 that I have missed, maybe some special for a country or event??

Like the Porsche 924 Martini.

928
928S
928S4
928CS
928GT
928GTS

US and Euro

Weissach
The kombi for Ferdinand.

Is there anymore?

There's some info of 'Competition Group', 'Ferry Porsche Edition' and RHD only 'SE' (S4 Sport) in archives. Other than those, only changes to parts and equipment for different markets.

Think Rothmans wasn't official model and I think this one was done on normal Euro anyway:

928 SE for the UK

Some call the 928 S with the 4 valve engine the "S3"

Then, lots of third party versions, e.g.
928 ASC Four-door
928 convertibles from B&B, Voll/Gemballa, Strosek, Koenig, Carelli, Jacquemond, and many more
928 targa from B&B
Golf 928 from Nordstadt
928 Wagon from Artz
928 Gullwing from SGS

and 928 S2! it has a higher state of tune than the S and in its last year (1986) it used the S4 gearbox, suspension and brakes.

I have missed the Rothman´s
The SE sorry but i forgot it...
And the S2 and S3 is for me quiet unknown, beacuse in Sweden we never had the S3. And S2 is just the evolution of the S.
And yes ofcourse all the aftermarket cars like Gemballa, Strosek and so on.

Lets not forget the Ferry Porsche Station Wagon, and of course those former badguys of Baghdad had their unfair share of overmodified 928S4s.

I want more pics of that Rothmans car. I have witnesses that for the last couple of years I have been talking about picking up a track car donor 928 and doing it up in either Rothmans or Loenbrau colors/decals.
