Why is it beeping?
I have a 91 928, automatic that has about 45K miles on it. I couple of days ago it started a consistent beeping when I am driving it. There are no warning lights, all the gages show no problems, the doors are secure and the seal belts bucked. It usually stops when I hit the brakes, starts again soon after starting back up. There is nothing in the manual that I can find about a warning beeping. Other than the beeping it runs and drives fine with no issues noted.
Anyone have any ideals of what might be going on?

Sounds like an electric fault somewhere… the only beeping I am aware of in those cars are in the door/trunk ajar or speed warning which is preset electronically)…

Check your interior lights. I had a cracked dome light that was shorting to the frame, tricking the car into sensing that a door was open and triggering the non-stop chime.

My door chime was ringing with both doors closed-
After changing the door pins and dealing with very short wires, I realized that the pin is closed when the rubber door seal presses on it.
Mine was deformed and not pressing properly or consistently on the passenger door pin-
causing it to randomly ring and be a battery drain.
(Thought I found a great deal on a new door seal-but that’s a story for another post.)
