928 Specialists; David and Jeannie Roberts
Some of you may have been attempting to get in touch with Jeannie at 928 Specialists for the purpose of ordering parts or following up on various things and have received no response.
Some of you may also know that David Roberts has been in poor health for some time. What most of you do not know is David's health has suffered a few setbacks over the past several months.
At this time Jeannie is spending 100% of her time taking care of David and is unable to "work" to fulfill orders.
Jeannie has every intention of continuing the business, but it needs to be on pause right now.
I do not know when this situation will change. In the meantime, I hope that those of you who have been 928 Specialists customers and/or friends with David and Jeannie over the last 30 years will from time to time hold them in your thoughts and prayers.
Jeannie and David are looking forward to Shark's in the Mountains this year.

I've bought stuff from them in the past (a Griffith's AC kit among other things) and they were always lovely to deal with.
Sad to hear about their current situation, hopefully he gets better, but with long term health issues it is definitely an uphill battle.

I have been going through a terminal illness with my Daughter. I know how they are feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with them and hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

Thoughts and prayers going out to David's recovery and to Jeanie for strength. Great people who were very instrumental in my early 928 ownership.

David C. - thank you very much for posting the information regarding David and Jeannie's business/health situation. Kitty and I feel badly regarding David's setbacks and Jeannie's stresses. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them. Many nice days spent with them in the NC mountains and their hospitality was always outstanding.

I bought some parts from them last year and Jeannie was very helpful even though David's health was her main priority. I really hope he can have a speedy recovery.

Would like to echo the same sentiments and well wishes and prayers to Dave and Jeannie through this difficult time.
Diane and I regard them as good friends and we both remember fondly our SITH and SITM events.

I bought my fair share of things from 928 Specialists over the years. Jeannie always makes you feel like a friend and would take time to help with any request. Ditto for Dave. I wish him a speedy recovery...the 928 community is here for them!!

They are both pillars of the 928 community and deserve our thanks, our prayers and our hopes for healing and restoration. I'm not sure what parts I really need right now but I look forward to placing an order for something as soon as they are ready to take it!
