The response to the creation of this Belly Pan is kind of amazing. However the kind of lack of response to the marketing of these is actually not too surprising. I based my pricing simply on the basic economics of the development and the efforts required to make one. I now realize that in spite of all of that the price I had set for these is just out of the realm of reality for too many 928 users in need. My new basic price is revised to $450 with an introductory price of $395 plus shipping. The cost of shipping is now $65 or $75 for domestic, $75 for Canada and $110 for Australia and other foreign locations. If is more I will eat it and if it is less I will absorb it. I am going to refund the difference to those few who have ordered and now received the Pans.

For those who have expressed an interest, please revise your position based on this and deal with it accordingly. The addition or $10 for S&H for a double order still applies..

Wow such a great product. Wish you had something that would fit my s4. Best of luck on your next project. I make 914-6 products and have run into the same issues you have.

Dang, that's unfortunate to hear. It's a really great product and design. I am very happy to have got it. Craftsmanship is superb. Thank you, Jerry for your innovations.

Very recently on Face Book a guy posted about these Belly Pans that he has 4 OBs in need of these pans but that he cannot afford even one of them. That very clearly describes the market for 928 parts such as what I have come up with. Sometime in the last decade and a half the 928s reached the bottom of their price market. The parts associated with them, to the extent that they were available, also did so. Since then the price of the cars has just about quadrupled and so have the parts. Those of us who bought them and the parts at the bottom are now faced with a much higher cost of doing anything with them. And that continues to be getting more significant. I have invested about $20,000 to $25,000 in 928 parts, on top of the number of cars that I have, and I'll bet that I could not do that for the parts now for less than $100,000. So the end result is that the market for Belly pans needs to make a big further change before I can sell any significant number of my Pans for even $400. I think the change is coming much more quickly than it did in my Aviaton life of some years past. That is still another story.

Greg, I lost your post, but if you still want one of these I will send it as previously stated for $395 plus $100 S&H to Australia. Thanks for your efforts on the possible group Buy However you still need to pay the 5% Paypal on top of it unless you send it friends and family. Paypal is jfeather@bresnan.net Jerry Feather

The S&H quoted above is $60, but with the extra piece I suggest $70. If you pay by paypal I also require 5% for the fee unless you send it friends and family. I have it packaged but I have to open it to put the seal on the Cowl cover. Let me know. It rounds to $490. Jerry Feather
