I am very stoked to see this project coming to fruition and am very impressed at the levels of detail in all aspects of this 928 Nardone Restomod.

Thanks for sharing this video.

Cheers.

Sigh... still, no cup holder <lol>

And now for some unsolicited feedback: there's a million and one things I like about this car, but those headlights just aren't doing it for me. I guess I never realized how important the original headlights were to making the 928 a “shark”.

Edit: It's like we've gone from shark to Sid(?) Maybe it's just me...

Thanks a lot! I actually like the headlights but now I won't be able to look at it without thinking of Sid.

I'm super impressed with SO MUCH of it!!! So many things being re-engineered, fixed improved, etc.. I would almost consider it a continuation build and my hat is off to all involved.... but since I can sit here and armchair quarterback someone else dreams , vision, vast talents and pocketbook, who's gonna stop me? Now if I hit the 1.2Billion Lotto tonight, I'll probably order one, but I would REALLY like to put my "Customers Preference" changes in this order.... Yes it's really a super cruising GT, not a race car. 400hp is fine.. I'll probably get used to the headlights,..... OK..... Please change my dash to have some kind of 928 gauge pod... I'll pick my own wheels, thank you..... But after all of the re-engineering to fix, perfect, improve, enhance, functionality and aesthetics..... the inside door handle is the same plastic lever since inception??!!?!? THE THING that your hand touches EVERY TIME??!? This can't be hard, comparatively... Ken

I did not know the story behind the design choice of the headlights before today. Interesting and obscure Porsche historical fact. That doesn't make me like them any more from an aesthetic standpoint however. They look too beady as said above, and in my opinion they would benefit from an added ring or bezel I think. Other than that and the soft nose (I understand it's more late 928 inspired), I quite like the taillights and rear in general with that light bar and those flared arches.

What I'm most interested in seeing moving forward now is the exhaust system attached to that engine. I don't think Mr Nardone will go for the farty, popping V8 'tune' we get in a lot of similar cars now. I expect it to sound good.

Further to that I can't wait to see the so far already ordered 7 cars on the road. Due to the personalised nature, each will probably be significantly different. In particular I'm eager to see the car in different colour combinations. Nardone should also work on a reimagined tele dial wheel as an option, just like the original 928.

yep, something off about the headlights. Maybe it's because we're so used to seeing the full 8" Euro's in a relatively small depression on the fender. Reminds me of a dried up Spongebob
