Default 928 Cowl Covers Revisited.

Right now it may be that there is no other source for a replacement Cowl Cover for any 928. I recently learned that the Factory has no more of theirs and that is a good thing since their's never fit worth a darn. I have found myself out of two of the versions that I make and have decided to change the material to something with a little finner texture. My new material is now in stock for another run of these and I have that scheduled for July 6. I still have only a few of the S4/GT versions of these for both LHD and RHD cars, and those will still be priced at $90 until they are gone, but the new ones are going to be $125 each plus shipping. The new material is about three times the money.

I also have discovered a very remote flaw in the Cowl Seals that I have been supplying and that is that the part of the seals that fits over the Cover and the Firewall is a bit too tall. That is not a problem until one finds that the hood is fitting tighter onto the top of the firewall and that puts pressure on the cover and will break it out. I have had only one issue with that, but I have made a change in the specs for the Cowl Seal and have ordered some new material for that which will solve the issue. That has to be special made so the price of those is going up a bit also to $25.
