Is this worth saving??
So a friend came across this Euro 5 speed 928. I guess it was abandoned on this property with a load of other vehicles. I called the person who purchased the property and he doesn’t know much about it all and needs to clear out the property. He said it was a 1985 but the import tag said it was imported 6-84.
my question is, is it worth saving? What kind of value does this have as a project? Looks kinda rough but I thought since it’s a Euro it may have some value. They haven’t found keys for it and they have to file for an abandon vehicle title. It’s about 1.5 hour drive for me to see it.

A LOT of upside on an '85 Euro. The last one on BaT bid to 34k, but that one should have been a 40k+ car. That being said, there's probably 40k needed to get this car up to 40k.
Personally, one of my favorite versions. Big horsepower and the original suspension geometry.

looking at the design of the forward edge of the seat it looks like the early seat, which makes me inclined to think it is actually an 84 or earlier Euro, but that is just guessing.

It’s an 84 twin dizzy complete car minus keys and a title. They were going to crush it. I’m going to pick it up on Monday. Anybody interested in a project? I can only afford one 928

Is it worth it..........................YES no doubt...the most desirable euro thats already been federalized.
I'm sure someone will take it off your hands and give you a finders fee.....

Interior wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. 77k on the odometer. License plate last registered was 2005. Not sure why it was parked, maybe because it got hit?. The fuel pump cover was removed so maybe it had a no-start issue? I’ve got a friend who has a pair of 82 Euro fenders for cheap and I know of a parts car in AZ for the bumper cover and lights.
The interior is all black with grey/beige seats, never seen that before.
