Default Wiring harness

Hello

Anyone know where I can get a new genuine Porsche or even new old stock engine wiring harness for a 1984 Porsche 928S 4.7 V8.

if you are talking about the front of the engine harness, Sean makes them. Or you can contact Roger100

Does depend on which harness, here's another place one of them is available from.

Kroon Wire

It is this wiring harness, but I’m looking for an original genuine Porsche one as I already have an after market one in their. I always prefer to have an original one if I can find one.

nothing wrong with reproduction. I got one made from a local shop and is great. I was just wondering if anyone has a nos harness that I could purchase. I have a couple of nos parts I keep on hand in my garage. Would be interested to get my hands on one.

the new reproductions are better quality than Porsche made 30 years ago new, and much better than a new old stock harness from 30 years ago.

I know that Greg Brown updates the weak points in his reproductions, but they're all pretty darn good.

Mine got really bad. Sean at 928Docs installed one he had built by hand. The improvement in the car's performance overall was just amazing. I highly recommend using him.

Kroon can make you a factory/concourse perfect reproduction. They are a Porsche Classic partner after all.

If you want better than stock you can tell Kroon what you want (they do a lot of custom work) or you can get a harness from anyone else like Greg or Sean (Roger sells Sean's harnesses).

All of them are a great choice.

Has anyone used the Kroons harness on a 928 with the 3 pole oil pressure sensor? It looks like it has the correct plug and is somehow $300 cheaper than the ones we have available in the states. I prefer the upgraded version available from 928 Motorsports and 928sRUS. I sourced mine from the latter. I’m just curious where they are getting the 3 pole plug if they aren’t available anymore.

Have you not seen Sean’s harness? It is just as good or better than factory. If you need a NOS front of engine wiring harness you might as well start searching for a NOS car. Let us know when you find one.
