I think the wiring cover on the coil is supposed to point downward so the wire runs under the air intake tube. (It doesn't really matter as long as it's not in the way of the intake tube)

What Rob said , though you might slide the coil forward a bit so the wire doesn't chafe on the front edge of the timing cover.
the main point of the wires is that they dont rub on metal,
as the wire will short out ,
and the shorts are hard to find unless you observe the engine running in the dark.

BTW I am jealous,
thats a beautiful engine bay.

^^^ What Mr. Merlin said. I'm just a voyeur here (I don't own a 928) but that's one of the nicest and most stock-looking engine bay I have seen on this forum!
Cheers

Thanks to you and Rob both. I’ll get it tweaked. And thank you very much for the compliment. It means a lot. I appreciate all the guidance and patience as I persevere. I’m brand new to Porsche and really restoration in general. I’m a bit OCD and like trying to put things back to stock-looking…maybe slightly “improved”. Lol

So with the ignition turned to the second position, the light did not come on. Neither the AAV plug or the WUR plug lit the light. I know I have 12v to both with the car running but not without the car running. Thoughts? I had a small “issue” with the fuel testing today so I need to track down a new WUR hardline. Ugh
Hey Rob and @Alan , any idea why my WUR & Air Valve are not getting 12 volts at the second ignition placement. Any way to fix this or just live with it? I get 12v when the car starts. Thx

Thanks. I got mine corrected to other day. Makes more sense anyway.

Congratulations. This looks awesome.
I have a question : where did you get the parts of the kjet, in particular the shiny injection lines of your fuel distributor towards the injectors ?

Thank you. Moved onto the a/c. Fingers crossed.

I had the fuel lines plated. I have a local plater in my small town. Sometimes I can drop off parts and get them the same day. LOL.
