Default 928 torque converter casing not coming out

Hi guys, I removed the transmission from 928 with torque tube, but while I was removing the torque converter casing it was not coming out , later on it came out with the torque converter. Now I am afraid that if I fix torque converter with the casing it can be damaged .

need suggestion how can I separate torque converter from casing
2 . I can see oil traces from the seal. While I remove the transmission I paid attention & remove it in the horizontal position . But still I am not 100% sure that the primary pump is leaking or not , as the oil from the seal will go down .

need suggestion if I should leave it ok should do it as I have big o- ring but do not have the nylon rings & the bronze bushing.
Thankyou

Did you remove the nuts securing the torque converter to the drive flange? There is a rubber access plug in the torque converter housing to allow access to the nuts. It is advisable to replace the bearings for the drive flange if there is no prior history.

Yes I removed them already . So I find a pipe now which I can put inside the casing shaft spline & hit slowly to TC & then it came out. It happened because of rust.
thankyou

It looks like you have the transaxle out of the car. I would highly recommend that you prop the tranaxle vertically when re-installing the torque converter. Place the TC on the shaft and turn it until you feel it drop an extra quarter inch or so to make sure it is fully seated, and then bolt up the flex plate and bolt down the cover while it is still vertical. If this is your first time working on the transaxle, if you re-assemble it horizontally, there is a higher possibility that you will re-assemble with the torque converter not fully seated, or that you will seat the torque converter, but as you are bolting it to the flex plate that it might unseat.
