Spring clean out parts sale
I have come to the realization that I have hung onto these parts long enough so hopefully someone else can use them. Prices do not include shipping and handling. Feel free to ask any questions. I accept Venmo and PayPal. Joe
Clutch assembly from out of a US 1982 928. Both clutch discs, pressure plate, throw out bearing have about 10,000 miles on them when taken out. They are Sachs brand. The intermediate plate has about 70,000 on it and held adjustment just fine. Car was parted out due to hidden accident damage. $750 OBO. Sold
Fuse box from out of a 1982 US 928. Everything worked on the car when it was removed. No signs of melted terminals or areas that got hot. $150 OBO
MSDS headers that have 3 bolt flanges for 1987 and newer cars. They are uncoated and only show surface rust. $300 OBO Sold
Limited slip differential from out of 1982 US 928. Worked well when removed from the vehicle. $750 OBO

Seriously great deal on those headers! Looks like one of the runners has been "massaged"

That’s what I initially thought too but after looking at the website 928gt.com and several other pictures on the web it appears that it’s factory. The prices on the other parts are negotiable as well. Just thought I’d give rennlisters first chance.

My first advise is that none of you do any business with the lister in this thred. His name is Joseph Ciesielski and his phone number is 414 640 1982. His email is skillski1@yahoo.com. You can contact him and verify any of this that you wish. I had committed to buy his Headers on april 3 and shortly after he quoted the shipping as $83.
Almost immediately upon learning of the shipping I sent $383 to Joseph to the paypal he had given me which was Joseph Ciesielski. Two days later I received another PM from him that said he was sorry for not getting me the shipping quote but that it was $83. Then I told him that I had already sent him the money by Paypal. Did he receive it? He said that he did not. However my Paypal said that the transaction was complete. I had sent him the money by Friends and Family so it would save him the fee. Therefore I did not have the protection of a buyer with Paypal.
Now Joseph says that he did not get the money and that there are in fact more Joseph Ciesielski's on Paypal. He never gave me his email for the paypal account, just his name. Now he thinks that he does not need to send me the Headers until he gets the money; but I am out the $383, whether he gets it or not and that is his mistake, not mine. I think Paypal is going to find that whoever got the $383 has a nice gift and that there is no way to reverse it. I will cooperate with them fully to try to reverse it, but the mistake was not mine but Joseph's. I am sure that Joseph will screw me out of both my Money and my Headers.
I strongly suggest that no one do any business with Joseph Ciesielski. I think that he is either a very clever but limited Scam Aritist, or that he is very Stupid. Unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, I think it is the latter.

Did you send payment to an email given to you by the seller reflecting his PP account?
Or
Did you send payment to a name that happened to have the same name as the seller?
You can see in PP to what email you sent payment. It will either match or not match with the email given to you by the seller. Then you will have a clear answer.

I sent the Paypal to the exact name he provided me for the payment. Joseph Ciesielski. Enough said. Read the post. It is not my duty to verify is some way that the paypal address he provides is somehow correct, Is it?????

Seems to me you will be reaching out to a random Joe, politely asking for your money back.

I have already done that, of course, but you and I know that that is not going to happen. The real question is just how much honor does Joseph have to stand behind his big mistake and send the Headers.

I have been in contact with PayPal and Jerry throughout the day to try to get this straightened out. Unfortunately PayPal is not of much help on my end because I am not the sender of the money. I have reiterated numerous times that I will ship the parts once this is cleared up. I am not trying to scam anyone.

Except that means that if it clears up that you do not get the money from Your PayPal you do not send the Headers, doesn't it??? It was your mistake that caused the money go to your cousin, or whoever, but if you do not get the money you are not going to ship the headers. Is that correct? If so, you have no honor.

Had you simply posted here for advice about working with PayPal to get your money back would be one thing, but right off the bat you took the road of insulting him. Not cool.
This is no different than sending a check to Joe Blow and you open up the phone book and pick the address of the first Joe Blow on the list then get mad at the correct Joe Blow for you not doing your due diligence.
I don't personally know Joe, but he is a part of the extended Milwaukee 928 family. I can assure you he's not a scam artist, nor is he stupid.
This is what I see when I type in his name in PayPal, that message means there's more than one. I've been using PayPal for over 20 years, I've never typed in a persons name.
