Anyone have a Bosch Tool 000.721.926.60 to rent?
All - hard to swallow the cost of this tool and wondering if anyone has one they would be willing to rent out? I'm planning an intake refresh to start in a few weeks and getting everything lined up.
Thanks

That tool is the absolute bomb, for that particular job.
Buy 2 and modify the second one so that fit easily over the injector connectors.
Eliminates connector breakage, loom and boot damage.

Having such tool is indeed a necessity for an inlet manifold job . The purists will curse me but I found the easy workaround was to simply remove the spring clip. I ran this way for years and the connector never showed any signs of coming loose and if it did come off cold starts might be a bit tricky but one would instantly recognise what the issue was.
Several years ago I then revamped the harness and simply fitted a male/female junction outboard of the inlet manifold and the modern female Junior Power timer connectors have the easy release spring clip.
Now inlet manifold removal is a doddle for both the ISV and Idle switch connectors not to mention the injectors and every other connector.
