Default Car cover

Looking for a quality cover for inside/possible outside storage that fits correctly. Did a search on the forum and came up with nothing. Anyone happy with the one they purchased?

Recently bought a Budge for another car I have and it was a virtual bag with no form fitting whatsoever. Requested a return and they said to just keep it and refunded the money.

I have one that I've never used. And, I won a 2nd one at a raffle at Frenzy in September. It is used, but belonged to a recently deceased friend, so I will be using it on my car when it's stored for the winter.

I can get you pix etc of the one I had (actually traded a GTS muffler for it a year or so ago). It appears to be an outdoor or indoor cover. If you are interested in pursuing this, send me a private message with your direct email and I'll take pix and send them to you.

For Indoor only use, I think these are great:

I bought this one about 2 years ago (very pleased, overall...see below):
https://www.carcover.com/porsche/928/1989.html

It is a good fit, seems pretty waterproof and has a lifetime warranty.
I will say it wore through the mirror area on both sides because there are no mirror pockets on the cover. It was partially my own fault as well because I wasn't using the undercar straps it came with to bind the cover to the car and it flapped incessantly in the wind. BUT, they replaced it for free, I just had to pay the shipping. As I recall shipping was $30-40 for the replacement which I will be happy to pay every year or two as long as they let me. Note I live in Florida and the cover sustained all the rain, heat and sun, all day, everyday for that year as well as 2 hurricanes.

If you find a better one, let me know

edit: there is a big difference in construction between indoor and outdoor covers. Indoor covers seem to be mostly dust covers, thin and flimsy but only have to keep dust off the car. Outdoor covers are much more substantial. So if you are going to use it outdoors for more than a few days a year, it pays to get an outdoor cover.

I've used WeatherTech for all of my cars. In 2019, I bought the one for my '89 S4 when I got the car--I always keep it covered when its outside. Fits like a glove and dries uncannily fast after the hardest rain storms. The Sunbrella material is excellent! They also can make indoor car covers; I have one for my '93 BMW.
Here's the link. It takes them about 5 weeks to make one. .

All my vehicles have a custom fit California Car Covers Supremeweave Cover w/ Fleece Lining that are installed between uses.

The vehicle interior is vacuumed, then blown. The exterior is washed, blown, then dried before being covered.

Each vehicle looks brand new when uncovered for usage.

Really like my Porsche OEM 928 Classic Cover. For indoor use only and out of stock in the US.
