Well maybe a Pacer gets a break because it’s butt resembles ours, a sympathy vote here to allow that.

Five weeks out. Time for another bump.

Once again I have a Civil Air Patrol conference that weekend, so I'm out Saturday. But I'll be there Friday night.

It's better than last year though, where I was literally playing hooky on my last weekend in the Army to hang with you guys and go to the conference.

My intent is to bring Stitch. It will be his first outing since the tree fell on him - was it two? Wow. - going on two years ago. (Poor Stitch.)

Hi all,

I know it rained last year for this event but was that a relatively normal turnout of vendors and cars? It seemed like half the vendors didnt show up. I’m trying to decide whether I’m going again this year

The swap meet itself isn't the point of the trip, since there is never a good selection of 928 parts. It's about getting the cars out for a spring drive and hanging out.

Last year was pretty good but the event is still not back to what it was pre-covid. You may find one or two vendors with a few 928 parts but the selection will be sparse at best. Even seeing 928 parts is a noteworthy event. You will find plenty of stuff for a 356.

Word on the street is there will be more 928 parts this year! James from 928Porscheparts.com is planning to bring a truckload.

Well now, that is indeed big news! Looking for a correct compressor for my 85. Plus whatever else I see that I might need.

Are you actually going to arrive in a Shark, Ed? It's been a couple years since that happened.

I did last year! I've only not had a shark a couple of times. I'll be sharkin' this year for sure, unless it's snowing or sleeting, then an SUV Jag

I plan to be on that crazy train with Gage and James, and I'll bring some 928 things with me .. you can PM me for requests I have been relocating all of my Porsche parts so I've had my hands on everything recently, it's mostly early car stuff but i recently got a minor haul of S4 items. Maybe I'll post a list here if that doesn't constitute a thread violation.

For those of you who may not know him James Izzo has become a great asset to the Northeast region of 928 things. He has vacuumed up countless parts cars in recent years, takes the time and space to part them out. Started the Facebook buy and sell group up here, describes things accurately and does business properly. A good guy too...and as fair as it gets.

Default See you there!

Hey Guys,
I’m not usually on Rennlist, but I’ll be traveling to Carlisle again this year with a truck full of parts. Please message me with any needs, I’m planning to rent a box truck again and can bring large items that aren’t always easy to ship. Doors, Fenders, Bumpers and hoods, wheels and more. Also please check out my website for shippable items 928porscheparts.com. You can text me at 781-254-0282 . See you there!
