As I noted before I'd not use a battery switch for this purpose - best bet: debug and fix the parasitic drain - anything else is really just a band aid. On LH cars the ECU will be readapting after each disconnection - best to keep this to a minimum. If you can't (yet?) fix the drain a battery maintainer is probably the next best move.

I prefer my battery switch to be behind the tool panel at the battery ground point, for several reasons: easier & quicker to access for emergencies/maintenance use, shorter more direct wiring, fewer wire segments/connections and its also not in the way of battery and spare wheel access. I also use this location for an always connected (even when battery switched off) fast battery charger port. This allows fast charging without any other car loads connected. If I'm not using the car for an extended period I'd plug in the battery maintainer which is permanently installed at the front end of the car (easier to plug in, more visible and worst case breaks free on its own).
