Hello,
My 1982 driver side lens fell out early this morning and crashed onto the concrete, as I reluctantly caught the red light.
Since she is my daily driver (and finding/shipping a new lens will not happen overnight) is it possible to plug in sealed beams as a temp solution so I do not get pulled over - with one headlight?

yes but you will need the 7" bucket as well. The headlight can be bought almost anywhere for under $20

You will also need an H5 (harness side) to H4 (headlight side) plug adaptor.

Not if he already has H4 headlamps - because that will have already been done.
