Default Fuel Pump - No Power

I am having issues getting power to the fuel pump in my ‘87 928 S4. It does not work when the relay is plugged in. I confirmed the relay is good by swapping the horn relay and trying a new relay from Roger. The fuel pump will only kick on when I jump the relay terminals.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix the issue?

Does the car run with the relay jumped?

If yes: The LH sends the signal the to FP relay to close 15 and 87.

I'd look at finding another LH to test in your car or better yet swap yours into a known working S4 and see if the fault follows the computer.

Also check the Positive Post on the battery, there are two smaller wires make sure they have secure connection

Check to make sure that the relay is not pushing the wire terminals out the back of the fuse panel when you plug it in.
