Default Where to look for a replacement gas tank

I just finished putting the engine back together on my 82. Planning to try and start the engine after 25 years. Put 5 gallons of gas in the tank. When I went to prime the system the tank cracked open at the filter. Where is a good place to look for a replacement tank? I don’t know where it’s safe to get a good used tank.
Thanks for any info that could lead me in the right direction.

Can you post a pic of the crack? There is a kit to fix the most common type of failure, but yours may be a different type.

I have one sitting in my storage unit outside Atlanta. I repaired the fuel strainer threads using marine JB weld years ago. It's been in my storage unit ever since.

There is a used tank that may still be for sale in Houston. Look for a CL ad in Houston for "928 parts", if you can't find it PM me and I'll send you the contact number. I think he was looking for $800+ for it.
