Default 928 shops in Pacific Northwest

Are there any recommended shops in the Pacific Northwest for restoring 928s? I’ve tracked down my grandfathers 1981 928 and it’s in fairly rough shape. I wish it hadn’t left the families possession when he passed years ago but that wasn’t an option then. It runs but needs work everywhere. I’m not looking to make it a concourse level restoration but a good looking driver. I did try searching the forum but the posts are from 5 or 6 years ago. Thanks

A and P are no longer working on 928's

You could also reach out the AvantGarde, they have working on a few 928's in preparation for auction.

A and P called me for parts just last week. Maybe they are just finishing up the last 928 customers

Huh, maybe they changed their minds. Definitely worth a call. I know the owner and the son have loads of experience working on 928's. I have been helping a local 928 owner with a repair that A and P turned away so. so that is where my information came from.

Just a general FYI, I was a customer of A&P for a few years. I found that their service was quite good, but that they occasionally "took liberties" with completing work order items.
They were small things that I chose to ignore.
.
Then came the "last straw" . . . . . . they lied to me about completing a specific item on the work order.
Obviously, I suggest other shops.

If in the Seattle area there is a fellow that works at Squires named Erik, that has extensive experience with early 928’s. Lots of certifications, honest, and well trained.
