Exclamation Massachusetts 928 Run Details - Sunday, August 8 - Worcester to VT

"Here it is; the meeting spot 9:00-9:30 am sunday,

http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt...iLGKX4Y-<br />

-or-

http://mappoint.msn.com/(lurfzprmeab...USA&C=42.27373

We meet at the corner of institute park visible from the art museum which is
150 yards off I-290. Coming from Prov. up 146 you get on I-290 and get off
at the overpass exit for lincoln square. Left at light over 290, then down
hill bear right to another light where you bear left onto salisbury st. go
100 yards to the park. After these you won't see many lights all day. 3
miles from the park we are in the country heading up to VT.

As the crow flies we will not go more than 50 miles into Vermont with
springfield, vermont as the furthest north. I would say 100 miles each way
with some extra screwing around in that very scenic area. Grab a bite
wherever and enjoy our cars. With the early start, should be back to
worcester with a couple hours of sun left. Of course everyone is free to do
as they please. This is not about "bonding" or anything just driving, in our
case the best gt ever built. Invite all your pals."

My car is in surgery, any chance someone might want to chat with a passenger on Sunday? I could meet you and hitch a ride.

It is estimated that 12-15 cars are expected to show, at this point. Anyone else here penciling it in?

I have prior committments, or I would be there........Gretch is at the top of her game and would love to mix it up with more of her kind................especially another Supershark.

He's M.I.A.
Some work to do on his car, it's probably parked for now.

Hey, with the '82 and '89 I'm a little "old and new" too.

The car is fine. I have driven it more this week than I have in the last month. I am on vacation not MIA. Washed and waxed it just a half hour ago. She is ready to run. But let me be sheepish for one moment while I ask the boss.

How do you folks feel about an "American 928" tagging along?

My '91 still has no interior. The '89's pI$$ing oil from the cam covers.

I'm torn between continuing the stereo install on the '91 (speakers arrive Friday) and being social... I love you guys - but I have to say that I want my '91 to be back together.

Although it might be fun to see how the LS6 SBC stacks up against a SuperShark.

Surely this isn't the last New England get-together before we get snowed-in?

With 2 GTs, maybe you need another 928 just to be sure you've got something to drive. If I get the Weissach back from paint, you can drive that. It's only got 2 pedals on the floor though...

With my Karma, if I had another 928 it too wouldn't be working right now either.

David, I have a third 928 (actually 0.928) you could drive, I think it's a 5-speed. It has been very reliable so far.

Doesn't it suck that you can't bring both of them?

I bet you could find someone willing to help you out
