Sounds like you need to leave your mistresses in the garage for a while.

Hi,
I don't have a sharks. but anyway. I don't think this GTS is iris blue. however, I see that these GTS has a manual gearbox, which seems to be very rare option.

Hi there,
I'm a lady owner and new to this forum too, just joined today. Got my 928 S4 few weeks back....and oh boy! Yours is MANUAL transmission! Nice!! I'll be over the moon if my Sharkie was manual transmission!

Hey Mandy: Welcome to the forum, and to the "female 928 owners club". I'm glad you are keeping us over the 5% mark in this poll...
Tell us some more about your 928, and maybe a rough geographic area where you live.
Enjoy the ride...
PS: My previous 928 was a manual, but unless you have long legs I don't think it's a benefit. For the small ones, the seating position is not too comfortable, shifter travel long, and clutch takes some effort - annoying in heavy traffic. The automatics are almost as fast, can be shifted manually (read i nyour manual about it, and check out the Jager Engineering shifters at www.jageng.com to make it even easier), and as an added benefit you don't have to worry about clutch wear.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm located in this very tiny country called Singapore (just below Peninsula Malaysia) and our cars are all right-hand drive...(unless you're a diplomat, then you'll be allowed to drive LHD cars).
The metallic grey 928 is an automatic, which is a nice addition to my other manual cars. Just got the car recently, found out there're some stuff to fix up.... like my left door refuses to unlock, and the right one refuses to lock...

Hi Mandy:
Thank you for telling us more about yourself! Most of us should know where Singapore is...
Are you a Singaporean, or an immigrant to the country? If so, where do you come from initially and what brought you to Singapore? I'm always curious, being an immigrant myself (from Germany to US).
Very interesting about the law requiring right hand drive cars - most countries in the world leave that open. From what I hear, not everybody in Singapore can even afford to drive a car - I hear the taxation and insurance are insane, and there are even restrictions as to how many new cars can be added every year. Is that true?
Anyway, I hope you can get your door lock problem resolved. Hope to see you here more often!

Hi Nicole,
Yes I'm Singaporean...born and grow up here. Frankly I can't figure out why only RHD cars are allowed here...probably because Singapore used to be a British colony...and they drive RHD? Beats me.
Yes you're right. The taxation and insurance here are insane, hence it makes car-ownership seemed like a luxury. The law restricts the number of new cars each year too because the government feels that too many new cars a year may cause over-crowding on our tiny island. And because there just isn't enough land space (plus all the irritating traffic lights), my Sharkie hasn't stretched her legs yet.

Mandy, glad you joined us,
Jane, You found the Iris blue 928 I looked 2 years for. Glad it went to a good home. ChuckZ has a nice dark blue one also. Back in 98 and 99 I was looking hard for a blue one. Oh well my consolation for all that hard work was a paint to match crystal emeral metalic 95 5 speed,,,, but I wanted an Iris blue one so bad I painted my Jeep that color so now I can see both each day.
