I think the Z46 code might be different than a M046 code. My seats are all the same color BTW.

Not sure I believe Low Miler's interpretation, but I don't have any data to the contrary. Option code 046 doesn't appear anywhere in the PET2 options database so it's tough to know how many cars have it. If you ask really nicely at the local dealer they might run it through their PPN (Porsche partner's network) which has every piece of data you could want about every 928, and most of it is correct.

One thing to consider on dual scale speedos is which are major numbers, kph or mph. On UK cars mph makes sense but Canadian cars it should be kph. Also trip and odometer needs to be on major scale so they are different between those markets. Do '78-'88 Canadian cars have dual scale? It would make sense same way as in UK. Also it would make sense to not have dual scale if electric display can be made to show secondary scale be it either kph or mph in '89-95 digi dash cars. Having digi dash takes care of major problem of knowing how fast car is going in mph so dual scale is basically redundant.
