Bay Area Fun Run - January 16th
Greetings from the 944/968 world!
We've organized a Bay Area fun run for this Sunday, January 16th. All P-Cars are invited! We will be driving from Saratoga to Santa Cruz for lunch at Seabright Microbrewery. We will be taking Highway 9 all the way to Santa Cruz. And anyone in SF or the North/East Bay who wants to drive back 35->92->280 is welcome to caravan with me! That's a truly fun drive.
Everyone is meeting at Dmitry's place in Saratoga. I assume he will post the address and directions today in this thread:

What time are you guys going to be in SC..? I might come over for the lunch thing... I live in Carmel Valley, and SC is a neat run "up" the coast for me...

Yah sorry for the late notice. I kept on waiting for someone else to get things organized and couldn't wait any longer....... I was waiting for Dmitry to post a new msg with his address and so forth but that didn't happen in time..
I believe we are meeting at 10:30 a.m. Look forward to seeing any and all there! Dave, if you can come I would really enjoy a good chat again. It's hard to find someone with which to have a quality political conversation that doesn't devolve into name calling these days.

So are you guys meeting in Saratoga at 10:30am? Or in SC at 10:30am... I don't think I will drive to Saratoga to be there at 10:30am and then drive back to SC... I would meet you guys in SC though...

I posted this to both 993 and 911 forums (as well as 996, Boxster, and Cayenne forums). Hopefully we'll have a big variety of cars this time.

Near the Cupertino Post Office
From SF:
Take 101 or 280 South - Merge onto 85 South , Take the Stevens Creek Exit.
Turn Right onto Stevens Creek, then a Right at the Second Light (Mann Drive)
Hang a Left at the fork, and as the road curves to the right, continue going straight into Eaton Place (newish complex). I'm the second house on the left.
From SJ:
Take 280N and Merge on 85 South, Take the Stevens Creek Exit.
Turn Right onto Stevens Creek, then a Right at the Second Light (Mann Drive)
Hang a Left at the fork, and as the road curves to the right, continue going straight into Eaton Place (newish complex). I'm the second house on the left.

Ugh ok everyone check the original thread again. Seems that people are changing their mind on the time.... Next time i'm planning and promoting my own event.

Wish I could go, but I'm already committed to a day of wrenching: T-belt tension check, flexplate check, tranny service on my car and T-belt tension check on fellow-928ers car. Looks like we have a nice break in the rain here. Would be nice to do another ride in a few weeks.
