Default 928 Movie Sightings

I checked the archive:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-P...model-928.html
I did not see these two sightings posted. I picked these up recentlywhile watching these movies on a local channel. One is from the past...the other a recent movie:

1. Days of Thunder: You know, the infamous "turn left" saga with Tom Cruise and former wifey Nicolle Kiddman. Seems he has more than one movie credit with the 928. In the scene after Cruise and Rowdy leave the hospital, Cruise approaches Kiddman in the hospital parking lot. On the opposite side of the lot from her BMW, there is a white wide-bodied 928 with an S4-like rear wing. Looks to be a pre-S4 model...from the mid-80's I would guess. Did not see it long enough to get more detail. Not sure what wide-body kit type it is either.

2. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days: Toward the end of the movie, as Matthew McConaughey chases Kate Hudson's cab on motorcycle, there is a scene where he is moving through traffic. McConaughey rides sort of toward the camera and preceeding him in traffic is a silver or gold 928. Looks to be an early 80's model...non "S" if I recall correctly. It is only on-scene for a short time, but is clearly recognizable.

Default Internet Movie Cars Database

Internet Movie Cars Database has a section for the 928:

Not as extensive as Pat's list, but still interesting.

And it includes pictures.

"Mira, Antonio! Watch what I do to your friend. If you don't want this to happen to YOU, you tell me where the money is. OK?"

Poor Angel never had a chance.

I love that movie and love the fact that I drive the dream.

I've seen that Who Dares Wins movie (good 'ol British Intel flick), didn't notice the 928. The one in The Hidden is pretty prominent, Kyle MacLachlan runs a few red lights in it.

Default Beverly Hills Cop 2 Shark

I was watching this movie on Comedy Central and there is a scene with 2 kids on skateboards hitting cars and setting off the alarms, one of the cars is a early 928.

I found the scene:

That's cool. How did you capture the image and transfer it to your computer to convert it to a jpeg?

Looks like that car has no side mirrors?

Not sure how he did it, but every PC based DVD player I've used has a capture feature.

I am sorting through shots from San Diego right now. I take too many damn pictures.

Actually I searched beverly hills 928 and found the scene, and the car has side mirrors, the kid has a bat or something that is covering part of the mirror.

That's a cool link. Interesting that I didn't see 'Risky Business' in there, Weird Science either, wasn't there one in that too?
