Sharks in the Hood sketched Artwork.
Thought you guys might like to see the sketched artwork for the T-Shirts and Banner for Sharks in the Hood.
By the way...
James Longstreth (the Artist) is the same artist who will be doing the artwork drawing of the event attendees with their cars at the Sharks in the Hood Event.
He also fabricates scales models for the Department of Defense (mostly Naval Aviation Aircraft and Ships) and also for NASA. He can make also make a scale model of your Porsche 928 (with any external customization you may have to it to include paint to match) and will be available to attendees to take their orders at the Sharks in the Hood event should anybody want a model made of their car.
This is a water color painting was done a few years ago by Alan Nies when I was driving the PRDATR on the track at PIR.

Dave,
From what I hear there will be 2 events that week- end. Track Attack has been scheduled on the 17th for sometime.
I think you will only lose about 10 to 15 locals (PNW) that are comitted to Track Attack.
Regardless, I am sure people attending either event will have a good time.
I will call you later regarding your e mail.

Jim you are correct, unfortunately, Timberline Lodge was unavaiable to accomodate any event for the balance of the year that could be traveled to Mount Hood without chains on your tires. The money has already been spent by one of our sponsors to hold the accomodations and for event planning. My apologies but the date is final- Friday September 16th to Sunday September 18th but that was the best we could do without interfering with Devek Days, Sharktoberfest, etc.
I beleive the website should be going up today or tomorow and invitations will be mailed out over the next two weeks (as we are able to obtain adresses).
ADVISORY
Timberline can only accomodate the FIRST 25 who register and pay for the event. The overflow will be accomodated in another hotel closeby.
So, the website for registration is going up today or tomorrow (www.sharksinthehood.com) . If you want to stay at Timbeline Lodge it would be prudent to get your registration completed as soon as the site goes up.

I'll be a "newby" for at least 3 years so I for one really need the guidance.

I've been talking with Stan Shaw of the OC and Heather Sirr, Pat Edwards' missus, and she's done an immense amount of work here Boyz. So .... let's sign up soon if you're planning on attending. If you don't like Paypal, then we'll make a different plan like checks etc. But please, let's go ahead and sign up now so Heather and Pat can get a head count in real terms. This will help also with the number of T-Shirts and Accommodations that need to be pre-planned. This even will be excellent, Louie Ott has already signed up and there will be a dyno and many other interesting, fun and exciting events that weekend.
