Mambo: Wilhoit is in St. Louis? If you are looking around there, you may want to search for dirt on Schmidt. IIRC the feedback is 2 or 3 years old, but that dealer does have a bad rep. Just thought you'd like to know. If you are going to pay a premium, it might as well be to a rennlister or one of the sponsors here who can help evaluate the vehicle: That would be 928 Int'l or 928GT.com or Devek.

Everyone seems to bad mouth Wilhoit. Details please?
What's his full name? What name does he do business under? Does he use multiple business fronts? What city? Does he advertise on E-bay (if so, what's his seller number). What has he allegedly done good or bad. And so forth.

Nice car F4GIB! Your car matches mine in exterior color. Does F4GIB have anything to do with the F4 Phantom? My Favorite "classic" platform.

Nothing "wrong" with Willhoit.......he buys nice low mileage cars from places like Ebay, Cars.com, traderonline.com, etc. and then flips them for a pretty big profit......usually between $5k - $10K. The only problem that comes up is when people "think" they are getting a better car from him because he does a nice spruce up job, takes classy pictures, and has a higher price. Simply put, the average person can buy the same cars he does with a little work and web access saving his profit to put into the car itself. He doesn't add any significant value to the car whatsoever. Legit guy, but now you know what he does.

I would buy from him any day of the week based on his word alone. He is a stand up guy and makes money doing something he loves and he stands behind all his cars. Sure he marks up his cars 20-30%.. I own a printing company and mark up every job i sell a hell of a lot more than that !! Not one of you guys out there would not want to be able to do what he does.
