![]() Sharks at the Lake 2006 is now a reality. It will be the same weedend as last year,June 17th & 18th (Fathers Day). Cheryl & I just nailed down most of the details and will be signing the contracts later today. Our host hotel will be the Tahoe Biltmore Hotel & Casino in Crystal Bay,the same Hotel we had our banquet in last year. We have booked all of the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors including a huge private balcony for our groups exclusive use. All rooms come with a full breakfast in the casino restaurant. This Hotel is a huge upgrade over last years accomodations and we have negotiated very good rates. The rooms vary in size, # of beds and access to the private balcony we have reserved for our event. The room rates for our weekend will vary between $99 and $150 (plus tax). For those who asked us to provide additional lodging either before or after the event we have taken care of that also. Please email me and I'll let you know what is available if you want to arrive early or stay late. Details about the banquet will be coming in the following weeks. The contact for room reservations at the Biltmore is "Sharon" at 775 833-6732. Let her know it is for "Sharks at the Lake 2006" Since we still do not know if we are conflicting with the Owners Convention dates, or how many people may choose the OC over SATL, we will have to limit our event banquet to 40 people. I know every event says "book early" but this is Lake Tahoe in the High season and we are in one of the major Casinos on the North Shore. If you want one of the less expensive rooms, ya better book it now. I will be starting a list of entrants so first come, first served.Notify me if you will be attending the event!!!! More detailw will come later but the things we are thinking of include a lunch stop in Historic Virginia City and and hour or so of sightseeing. We will again wind up for lunch at our home on Sunday. If you have any questions about the event PM or email me and I try to answer your questions.

Tim... Kay & I enjoyed a fine dinner with you two
at Sharktoberfest; you mentioned you thought to do another Lake-fest for '06. Glad to see it's on for June (17-18). Please add us to the '06 list. Looking at George's photo it's obvious you need some other shark-color than the 'standard' red-white-black-silver.

Tim and Cheryl,
You can count Gerry and I in, especially since you saved our bacon with tires and wheels for the Sunday Fun drive and our drive home. We certainly enjoyed the ride, view and especially the commaraderie. Sara and Gerry |

Tim and Cheryl,
I wasn't able to make it last year and heard so much about it that I can't miss it this time, so I'm signing up early to make sure I'm in - I can't wait. Hope to play a little Texas Hold'Em too, since we'll be at a casino! Sign me and my wife up. If there is a conflict with the OC event, that's just too bad, because I'll be at SATL 2006!
Edit after post: Oops! I missed Richard Lang's post. OCIC in July! Great! Should work out perfectly.

I'm in for sure, possibly with a guest. I agree with Bill. I'd rather not have to choose just one, but if I do.... I want to go to SATL.
