Default Low Mileage 89 GT needs help-SOLD

We are getting in a black/black 89 GT with 65k miles. The car is a one owner car and all dealer serviced. In fact the owner just spent $3,500 this month with them. Unfortunately the car has spent the last 5 years outside and it shows. The dash and pod are cracked, the carpet faded and the seat leather is torn and stretched. Very sad to see.

So which one is this...listed on Chucks registry?... True shame...I bet it shows what being outside can do to a car....

Mine in contrast has about 175K on it now and the interior is in pretty decent shape..but mine spent its life indoors...previous owner drove..but always parked in garages at work and home..and I keep it inside most of the time too...

Later,
Tom

P.S. Not that im looking..but what range are you looking at Mark?

I'll trade you:
an 85 Euro auto (black, Black Tan (alot of leather) + motorsport X-over and tip shifter.
a 75k mile clear title 89S4 5psd shell
perfect except for no windshield and missing on quart window) (including LSD 5spd and rear suspension)
(including media blasted bumper ready for repaint)
and....uh...a 1980 BMW 320i 5spd with a small oil leak. (light tan/**** Brown) I can have it all at your store by Friday.
I can also include:
An entire set of S4 cams.
Rear quarters from the 78 interior VGC
One GTS Oil Pan
4 16" Phone Dials (need media blast)
Front and Rear S Brakes, rebuilt
*
*
*

...If thats not enough I can include the PERFECT Dash and Pod and center console from the 89, but I was thinking I would need that for the GT.

Deal?

Okay, you drive a hard bargain. Two rebuildable Bilsteins (front I think), an L-Jet computer for an 81, a set of Lloyd's carpets, come upper and lower bell housings, An AC fan from an 81, and anything else I can find that I don't need to properly reassemble the 78.

Oh, and one lightweight starter.

I have my poker face on and am serious.

The only things I am holding back are the front suspension pieces from the 89. They are powdercoated, and ready for new bearings, which I bought from you and are in a box with 1500 dollars of other stuff I have purchased from Jim thinking this would all be together one day. The lower A Arms have new Poly bushings on them.
