If so, do you have the dimensions, bends, etc to have someone do this for me, or should I pull the rear muffler and give it to them for reference? Should this be done by a muffler shop, machine shop or ?? I'll definitely go SS. Would this be cheaper than ordering one 928gt, devek, etc? Last time I tried to order one, they were on backorder anyway.
Is the rear muffler the same on my 90 S4 and my 88 S4? If so, I'll pull the muffler off the 90, since it's just sitting for now.
Thanks.

Believe me Brett..."it ain't Rocket Science"...if you can find a muffler shop willing to ditch the rear muffler, just tell them to maintain the stock pipe diameter...and exit at the stock location. Of Course...you WILL want them to install the 10" Stainless exhaust tips...SO, figure about $130 all inclusive. And you WILL be SO happy you did it... I know I was...

The larger 3 inch dual pipes add to the nice deep resonance remember these are musical instruments and they need proper tuning. The S-4 pipes and 86 1/2 have bell shaped flairs and odd connectors where the pipes join and the ready made RMB has the same flairs for a no cut simple bolt on.

Fabbing your own complete exhaust would be cool, but if all you want is an RMB then just buy one from one of the big three. 10 minutes to order, 30 minutes to install, it will fit the first time. No headaches. I got mine at 928 Int'l during Sharktoberfest (saved shipping)
