I have done it several times, just not to a 928. I am sure that someday I will. Probably sooner than later.

NOPE. Not that I know of. H will get a chance with the 89, and I will finish the 78, and it will almost be a kit car, the only original 928 parts being the powertrain and body.

I don't think so....the smog ****'s are quite strict around here!! I have heard of more friendly smog shops that might exist.....but they are rare and hard to find! BUT...typically the buyer smogs the car right before you buy it!! I checked the smog history on this car & it was last smogged 9/03 so it is past due?

The STI will probably hook up and launch much better; you'll have adhesion problems with the 928, but it will certainly be going faster at the end.
