You need to list prices to keep Randy happy.

I may be interested in the doors and hood. How much?

Hi John,

I'd rather receive offers than quote prices, quite frankly. I just checked International's website and they're listing hoods for $400 and door shells without components for $375 each, if that helps you to consider what they are worth to you.

I'll PM you my phone number. Call me to discuss.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Andrew,

I know, and I am a member (see the note to Admin at the bottom of my listing). I've sent a couple of emails to Admin asking to have my sig fixed, but I have heard around here that they are very busy, and they haven't gotten around to me yet, so I didn't want to harass them about it. Figure, this way, if they see the problem, maybe they'll fix it for me when they have a minute.

No problem. After you mentioned it, I went back and bolded the text to make it more eye-catching and to avoid future problems. Thanks for pointing it out.

Too bad the fenders are US...

I have a spare LH for an 84 Euro, but I'm not sure I want to let it go. You can use 85-86 US brains. They supposedly run the engine a little richer which may be good for your SC. You can also get the chips in them reprogrammed to match an 84-86 Euro. John Speake did that for Normy.

BTW, if you use the 85-86 US brains with stock chips, you can run an O2 loop. Converting to 84-86 Euro chips will disable the O2 capability.

Looks like a nice car. Why are you parting it?

Ditto,

This car looks better than mine, how can I justify canibalizing it to make mine better?

The car no longer exists as shown. It's already in little teeny tiny pieces in my basement and along the side of my garage. The motor had a major meltdown and started blowing oil everywhere, and anyway, it had serious frame and floor damage. I was unable to find a replacement motor when that happened, and through one thing and another, I ended up buying Carl Fausett's 84 Euro to replace it. I put all of my good parts from the white car onto the Euro (those that would cross over), and now I'm basically left with a bunch of good US body parts that don't go on a Euro. The next thing you'll ask is why I didn't keep the white car until I found a suitable donor motor or something. If you look closely at the driveway under the car, you'll see it's two concrete runners with a grass strip in the middle. The driveway is only 30 feet long, and the garage is a tiny barely-one-car garage. I simply don't have the space for a third vehicle, between mine and my wife's SUV.

So don't feel bad about cannibalizing it...feel bad that the S/C'd Euro isn't running for no apparent freaking reason, and I need BRAINS!! I think.

Make me an offer, people!!

You still need to list an asking price for each part if you want this topic to stay.

Please read thru the entire New Visitor...FAQ toipic posted at the top of this forum.

Thanks.
