If you could ask the designers of the 928 ONE question...
...what would you ask them?
Something about the exterior design and aerodynamics?
Something about the interior design?
Something about the engine?
Something about the torque tube and transmissions?
Something about the suspension?
What would be your question?

Did you see the 924GT or 944? Yea? Hey, check out those rear fenders.....oh, took you a few years to catch on.
Is the average German test driver under 5' 11"?

Besides, Porsche always needs a path for evolution, and extreme power has never been the Porsche thing. They focus on the chassis first, to make the power manageable...

What would have been the final width of the 928 if it weren't for the rumored width
restriction of the German car wash?
How wide front and rear tracks and what width wheels? (Of course back then the Pirelli P7's were the "bomb" and tire availability limited wheel widths)
The 928 just doesn't feel wide once one gets used to it.

Why the heck didn't you just specify $18 Anchor solid motor mounts and be done with it?
Why didn't you have a supercharger installed at the factory?
What the hell were you thinking when you came up with these weirdo wheel offsets?
-------
Any one of these would have obviated half the crazy arguments here on Rennlist.

Nothing major really - maybe kill the sunroof. Normally I like cars with sunroofs, but the 928 it takes way too much headroom.
