Default Leather auto boot?

I think I saw one on Nicole's car...a leather shift boot and gear position bezel for an automatic 928.

Where can those be found? I want one in black.

PM Ed Hughes,

He put one on his car and it makes his car look like a 5 speed. Don't have a clue where he got it though.

I think we are the only 2 awake tonight.

shift boot and frame from 928SP, dyed grey-green
ebay shifter
while I really like the Jager setup, I couldn't justify almost $200 for something I did myself for $50

Just a warning about doing business with 928stuff.com. I ordered the boot and shifter from them a month ago. About two weeks after placing my order I emailed and asked where my order was. After several emails, over several days, I finally got a response. He says he'll ship it in a couple of days. Two weeks and you haven't shipped it yet? What the hell!!

Two more weeks have passed now, and several more emails sent with no reply from them. I'm left with no other choice but to initiate a dispute/chargeback with paypal, which I've done.

It may just be my bad luck, but this has been my experience with 928stuff.com. If anyone tries to do business with them I hope you have better luck than I.

I have that same shifter, and I got it from Carl Fawcett. I also paid less then what 928 stuff is charging. I definartely like it and would strongly recommend it to everyone

You must have gotten some kind of special deal as 928motorsports is more expensive than 928stuff by $15, with shipping being the same. Although, if you buy from 928motorsports you may actually get the product.

Here's mine. Leather boot from 928 Specialists, momo shifter. I'm not too crazy about the shifter and will probably change out to one with a wood accent if I ever get around to it.

I just fitted a black leather boot this afternoon. The boot with the frame to go with it is $45.00 before tax from 928 Spec and it is an easy job. Looks good, I have a momo black gear know and since it is a black/black car, it looks ok.

I have the Momo like in the picture in a previous post, seems like all the autos will have the same problem? The will all lean forward at that angle.

Mine took a while too, but I don't think Rick is out to screw anyone. It seems to be a side biz, I doubt his product offering is enough to make a full time gig. I think he may have gone a week between communications, but did provide as promised.

I don't think 928Motorsports stocks the boot-I did get my shifter from them.
