Window Stickers

Upon the request of a couple of fellow R'listers im hosting this page to dipslay window stickers from our 928s. My goal is to get atleast one from each year the 928 was produced. Then perhaps add a picture of that particular car. With the aid of some economic gurus id like to also add a "todays price" to display along with the original sticker.
I plan on using a drop down menu that you would click to see the corresponging year. Send Scans, photos etc to v1uhoh@hotmail.com . You may find the stickers are too big for a scanner so just send two halfs and i will put them together.
The link above is to v1.0 but it has the "mother" of all 928 invoices to start things off!

WOW!!! Mother of all 928s indeed. That thing has a whole herd of cows in it! COOL!! For the sticker price, you would think they wold throw in a stroker kit and some performance mods as well.
I am curious now. Where can I get a window sticker? I just e-mailed PCNA for the cardex (about 20 minutes ago) following a rennlist archive search on the subject. I should have a resonce within a week. I hope sooner. Will this cardex/certificate of authenticity include sticker info or simply the options included when sold?

God...I'd give my left - - - for the window sticker to my car. I really doubt one could get a replacement but anyone know a secret I don't??? Been thinking about getting the cardex thingy!

Hey Gang,
A "new" window sticker would be very cool, but I would not hold too much hope from Porsche on it. I ordered one of those "Certificates" from Porsche which was also supposed to include the MSRP at time of initial sale, but due to insufficient records at Porsche, that information could not be included with it. It's still pretty neat though... a new window sticker would really be cool.

I have the window sticker that was on my 82 Weissach. The total on it was about $49,000. I will find a way to get it up. I also have the 8x10 inch pictures they gave to people who were really interested, along with a with a signed letter from someone at porsche, saying "welcome to the inner circle of the worlds finest cars". It is kind of cool.

Also, I would send you the pic of my window sticker BUT SOME A$$H0LE STOLE MY LAPTOP!!!!! I've still got it, just haven't had a chance to transfer everything over to this loaner laptop yet.

Here's a pic of the last 928 GTS sold. But not the last one produced, that one was kept by Porsche.

By the way Tony, I'll scan the sticker from the 1980 ex-Callaway turbo. MSRP around $41,500 in 1980, add nearly $12,000 to Callaway in 1982.
