Default S4 Rear Lights & Fender Clear Indicator Lenses

Hi Everyone,

Need help again.

Does anyone know if there are suppliers who can provide aftermarket rear lights for the S4? I was hoping for smoked lenses or even LED versions. I have been hunting high and low but they seem to be non existent.

Also again would like some clear indicator side lenses on the fenders and they are proving to be extremely elusive.

Thanks

Syed

Hi Syed:

I don't know of anyone making alternative tail lights for the 928. They are quite large, and the suppliers I have don't have the equpiment to make pieces that large.

What I can offer are turn signal and side flasher or US side marker lenses that are clear. Just click on the link in my signatulre and go to the Porsche 928 Lights and Lenses section of the site.

Look and see if Testor's has a smoked acrylic paint, although you may need to get creative with bulbs and such to be legal. Many of us have painted the rear lenses red with Testor's paint, a project that does wonders for the right color of car. Here's mine (red lettering courtesy of Nicole):

A good tail light painting thread can be found at https://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/316098-painting-tail-lights-red.html.

Thanks for the links

Is there a website where I can purchase Testors Translucent Candy Apple Red #1605 and have it shipped to the UK? Tried everywhere here but no one stocks it!

Cheers buds
