Actually, here's my '85 in Venetian Blue. Yes, I repainted it.

There's at least one '89 GT in Venetian Blue as well, but I don't know the story behind it.

Here's a couple of pics my non metallic '85 Dunkelblau (DarkBlue) shark. Color can look really dark, but in the light has a nice blue to it.

wow..nice work! thanks all. all you tend to see is black or red. porsche had some really interesting colors so its nice to see a few of the different. ones. i am taking delivery of a diamond blue metallic tonight all the way from oregon and am psyched to see it. i guess its pretty close to silver and dont really know how much blue is in it but guess we will see. anyone have this color or can shed some light on just how blue it actually is?

It will probably look silvery in the sun and (relatively) darker blue at night

Here you go...Diamond Blue Metallic. It does closely match silver, but will change shades in the sunlight. Very nice color for these cars....but I'm a bit biased

richard, that is the color! looks so much like silver. i fell in love with the pics when i bought the car but it seems like its such a subtle blue that you really have to see it in person to notice the blue. that electric blue is funky. i would never have picked it but now its growing on me...

This color can show blue, silver, even some hints of purple in the right lighting. Diamond Blue has a bit more depth than silver. The clear corner and side markers really look good with this color as well, plan on changing out the stock ones if it hasn't already been done. Post your pics as soon as it arrives!
