With some other car enthusiasts (not 928 owners but do not hold that against them. Some prefer their P cars to be cooled by the atmosphere) we are working on putting together some, let's call them, "rally & tour" events. Dates TBD but 2020. The 'tour' would be "all inclusive" as in route plan, hotel, dinner each night, prizes, etc. Numerous drive destinations are on the table for consideration. The big blue lake on the NV/CA border is certainly one of the options. Since not 928 specific (not even P car specific) it might not be worthy of a sticky here but within the next couple months we should have a cool trip...or two or three put together.

First or second weekend in August was historically the Devek Days spot on the 928 calendar. Too bad the weather at the lake is so poor around that time of year. I happen to like the warm days and cool evenings, but there will always be somebody who doesn't.
