I wouldn't call it rare, but not to common. I had an 89GT in Baltic Blue. Always got compliments on the color.

928 colors can be grouped to four categories I think.

1. Common as dirt basic red, white, black and silver versions.
2. Little less common colors to which many blues belong.
3. Rare colors which only few to dozen cars are know to have but very likely dozens more yet unknows have too.
4. Ultra rare mainly paint to sample colors with very few unpopular normal color sheet options added in.

In this scale Baltic blue is in the middle in rarity.

I don't know and don't really care.
I like it and like the way it reacts to the light.

I've seen a few 928's in Baltic blue...its rare but they are out there......

Dove Blue is EXTREMELY rare......I've only seen one Porsche ( 1989 944 Turbo) in that color....it looks stunning...well at least this concours level 944 did...heres a pic...
